About Dave
David began his professional career in 1988 when he joined the U.S. Navy after high school, assigned to the U.S.S. Samuel Gompers and then the U.S.S. Proteus as a Hull Tech Fireman. Five years later, in 1993, he completed his active duty and became a reservist. Moving to Sacramento to be closer to his family, he met his future wife and settled down.
David put his naval training as a welder to use in the commercial district, working for ten active years with the Local 162 Sheet Metal Union while concurrently serving as a seasonal vocational instructor for the same union through the Los Rios Community College.
While he currently holds a supervisory position at the California License Plate Factory at Folsom State Prison, he continues to teach custom stainless steel and artistic metal courses to apprentices and journeymen seeking to expand thier skills in the trade.
Surrounded by friends and family with “karaoke fever” David began holding regular karaoke parties at his home in 2003. For the past ten years David has produced karaoke for anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, retirements, weddings and seasonal events such as Halloween and New Year’s.
David enjoys outdoor sports, music, video games, and regularily socializes with his friends and family. He currently resides in the greater Sacramento area with his wife of seventeen years.
